Good morning Upsydaisy hope your well as can be?. grey morning here but hopefully it will clear, feeling a bit sore today from gardening all day yesterday but it was worth it, the garden is looking good and the colours are warming up

WhatsApp is just another way of texting and sharing photos, you can also ring on WhatsApp too, if the other person is also on WhatsApp apparently it’s free when you call them……or so that’s what my mother in law told me

Yes thanks I was aware of all it does...just avoided it for as long as possible. We have Alexa contacts, Signal contacts, ordinary email contacts.....now this one too, I'm too old for all this.
On the plus side an old school friend has contacted me, we do keep in touch at Christmas and very occasionally meet up together with another school friend but the last get together was a couple of years ago.
So that was a lovely surprise this morning.

Yes gardening definitely gives your body a good workout doesn't it.

Slightly cooler day today but nevertheless still looks to be very pleasant.

It's amazing how one minute the trees are bare and the next they're all sporting new bright green foliage!
Everyday in Spring there is something new to find.....love it!

Good morning Upsydaisy & all! Love the English rose very nice . Just woke up to grey skies and only 8c at the moment, looks like the garden has had a good watering through the night! Saves us watering it , not sure where we are going today, maybe a nice walk somewhere to blow the cobwebs away!

Hot Chocolate would go down a treat, it's dipping down to 3C tonight and already I'm feeling cold, despite it reading 21C in our lounge.

 

Hot chocolate coming up!, it’s 9c here at the moment dropping down to 4c.

Another cooler but sunny day has dawned here.

Trying to work out when to see a friend who is over here from South Africa...the times that have been suggested I can't manage this week...grrr.

I have to admit I like Chicken @Michael Hewett but I so wish I could go back on a vegetarian diet. Having said that our meat portions are small compared to the amount others serve up. We also have several meat free days to during the week.
I never ate meat not because I didn't like it but because it was a dead animal!! However I detest to smell and look of Pork, not too keen on the smell of Lamb but it is an essential ingredient to one particular Iranian meal that just can't be adapted!!
Beef...needs to be so well cooked it becomes unchewable ....and I have never had any game meat and never will.
Fish I can just about cope with as long as it doesn't look like a fish..My Dad use to fish for Trout but always had to prepare them before giving it to me, even then I struggled and usually couldn't face eating it myself.

Give me a plate of good old veg any day ...unbeatable!

 

@Michael Hewett .....am I going mad ??? Have you deleted your post about eating meat??

I hope you have and I'm not imagining reading it.
