WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

Well it tried to brighten up at times but its really gloomy now.
not good, wind still blowing and feels cold.
11c atm.

I need rain here too and there's none forecast for the next week and a half. That's as far as I can see ahead on the local weather forecast.

A cloudy and misty morning followed by a sunny afternoon. Back to cloud and mist as the sun started to set. 8C/46F

Fine, dry 13-14°C some sun; cold breeze from the north east.

 

A very nice comfortable day ahead for pottering in the garden.

It is grey and damp, 8c going to 18c. Had a light shower 6ish and might get another soon. However, the forecast rain through Tuesday appears to have gone fora.

Not having rain for five months with temps in the high 30s constantly makes our ground crack too. However, having mostly drought resistant, evergreen plants and a hose is how we manage.

 

Lots of blue sky but also a fair amount of fast moving low clouds.

It's raining lightly ...

I wish we would have a downpour ... but I don't want a monsoon ... ... just enough to fill the dams.

 

Do you think a downpour would actually achieve that.
Reservoirs usually take an awful lot of rain to refill after a drought.

When we had a long spell of below average rain fall some years ago I can remember the water companies blaming the vegetation for mopping up what rain fall we was getting and that virtually none of it was reaching reservoirs.
