For about the 5th year running, I’ve come to use my spray gun in spring to find it leaking :gaah: I’ve had cheap, I’ve had expensive, they all die on me. This year, we’ve replaced the fitting on the end of the hose, but this hasn’t solved it. It’s not just the expense, I hate throwing things away :th scifD36:
So, tips please, best gun to buy, and any tips to stop it leaking or mend it?
    Thank you

Was it left outside overwinter? The frost can get to them and burst/split them, even expensive ones.

The connection usually has O rings on it.
If it's leaking at that point it might just need a new O ring on the end.

But, I, agree, best taken inside over winter.

You can buy the o-ring kit. I just leave mine on the hose in the garage.

I agree. I have a stack of leaky sprays in the shed . As I find the expensive ones don't seem to last any longer than the cheap ones I now go for cheap. The one I bought previously lasted a couple of years without leaking and the similar one I bought six weeks ago cost £3 at a trade warehouse. Can't remember the make :noidea:. If I see a name on it (not sure there is one) I'll come back here.

I had a Wickes one for years until it just fell to pieces one day, but mostly they've been rubbish.

Bought a Gardena at the weekend, hope it is better quality than my Hozelock one that has just failed.

The Gardena is supposed to be frost proof but I'll still bring it in during the winter months.

The Gardena arrived today, have to say the quality is better than the old Hozelock one.
