It looks chilly out there with no sunshine. Just wind and clouds and cold. :(

No matter. I'll start some dough and bake some chelsea buns to make the house smell cheerful. Number 1 son is coming back this morning to do some paperwork. I have one of those eco-tank printers so it makes sense to do the printing here.

Other than that, it will be a slouchy day!

I've had my air bike for about 20 years and it's still working brilliantly ,it has rowing action handle bars too for a cardio workout.

A friend and I are going to see Operation Mincemeat. I prefer movies that are based ( albeit it lightly at times ) on true people/ events.

Having said that I will definitely see the new Downton Abbey...probably next week. And I do try and see most of the ones our youngest works on......even if they're not my type at times.

Hi Flumpy. Yes, Ben the Gardener came on Saturday and things look bare in places as he had to remove big climbing plants.

It was May Day, the holiday, yesterday here.

By the way, I know nothing about the Channel Islands where Herm is ... nor the Hawaiin Islands where Hermes is.

 

We crossed again Flumpy. I got my new exercise bike in February and do 15 minutes every morning.

 

Victoria, sorry you did explain to me when your Mayday was, my days are all merging into one , I have a rowing machine but would like to Exercise on my legs too, it’s good especially on rainy days when you can’t get out. Aawe I know what you mean about the garden, I my shrubs a good trimming back in October, but it’s all growing back now

I don't have an exercise bike. Well, not any exercise equipment. I do some of the XBX program every morning. https://csclub.uwaterloo.ca/~rfburger/xbx-plan.pdf I used to do 90% of it but dumped the jumping and running in place because I figure as my joints age, they aren't going to thank me for jarring them. @Flumpy doesn't your work force you to be on your feet most of the day anyway?

It is chilly, cloudy and a great day to stay inside. It is not a holiday here but when you're mostly retired like me, it's sorta like that everyday.
