Alex Beresford, that very annoying little twerp who the ITV made the main weather presenter on their news.
why does he keep emphasising certain words all the time.
AND being the worst one, which he seems to start most sentences with.
Surely they can do better than this individual.

Cant stand people who start sentences with "So" either, its ok now and then but increasingly the way to start talking.

I can't stand the way "like" and "whatever" are used constantly!

So, I think Beresford should stick to the weather and refrain from giving his own warped opinions like ;)

I did see him on breakfast TV albeit some months back. However he didn't launch straight into the weather report that we were anticipating.
He gave instead his own gripes of World affairs which I found quite cringe worthy. Hopefully he may have been taken to one side and reminded what his proper role was.

They don't even go as far as saying 'whatever' now.. It's evolved into 'whatevs'

I just don't understand a lot of the modern language. They have new words, have changed the meaning of existing words, slur their words when talking and sometimes talk too fast as though they are rapping.

Things weren't like that when I was young! :old: :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I always read back what I've printed in text messages before pressing 'send'
Predictive text can be a menace for replacing your intended word with a different one.
Some can be very embarrassing..for instance, you can write 'Rick Stein' and it might change it to 'Dick Stain'

AND Beresford said yesterday that by next week temperatures will be around twenty EIGHT DEGREES.
Ont BBC lunchtime they said next week will be mostly unsettled and 20c at the most.
                            Whose going to be right.

                              That's why I call them guessers @pete .

Though that is probably inaccurate. I believe one set of guessers consult their Ouiga board before announcing their forecast.

I've never understood why people use predictive text. It's just as quick to type the text in full than keep altering the words.

Talking of words, why has the word 'anyway' developed an 's' on the end in recent years?
