                This plant Green Alcanet isn't anymore the grass cutter came along and cut all of the grass. All of the verges have been done and all of the cow parsley cut down.

                  That's early to cut the verges, and stupid do cut all the wild flowers.

                  Here are some Marsh Marigolds, Caltha palustris ...

                    The council around here are running a campaign called, No mow May,
                    you should hear all the moans and groans about every where looking untidy and how it's just a way of saving money.

                      People think the hedgerows are gardens. Nature isn't meant to be tidy. People need to wake up and become less 'minimalist'.
                      And if you saw many of the private gardens around here they are more untidy than the hedgerows.
                      Sometimes I think humans are the stupidest things in the universe (well some humans anyway)

                        And look at all the litter that's lying about everywhere you go ! They can moan about that making the place untidy !

                        And also they should be grateful the council is trying to save some money (if that's what they're doing) otherwise their council tax bill would be even higher than it is !

                        People !! :frown::frown::frown:

                          It's not early they used to start in march but last year they only cut it once but it was later and always cut it when it's raining.

                          Most of the front gardens are being turned into parking space around here.

                            Maybe it's not early for the council in your area but it is to early for nature and too early to make sense.
