Today I've been to the Surgery for a Blood Test & BP check. My BP was quite high, White Coat Syndrome again.

The nurse checked my previous Blood & ECG, and said they were fine. She couldn't check my previous 24 hour BP monitor, only the GP can do that.

I explained that I couldn't have my Cataract op because my Heart Rate & BP was too high.

I said I need a face to face with the GP, she said they are not doing those now at all!
        Back to square one.

I said to the Nurse you see patients face to face, why can't the Doctors, she said, don't get me going on that subject.
So it appears the Nurses are not happy with the lazy Doctors either.

I've not grown broad beans for some time, probably more than ten years, but I have some this year and they are in full flower.
Not seen a bee on them yet, they used to always be full of bees.

Likewise Laburnum, on a sunny morning it would be a massive hum, but just a few bumble bees is all I'm seeing this year.

In the last two years they have built massive housing estates in the countryside around here, to the effect I'm more than a half a mile further from what I consider country, fields and trees, orchards etc.

I'm just beginning to wonder if they blame farmers for using pesticide's when the real problem is concrete.
Developers plant a few token trees and some daffodil bulbs and all is hunky dory.

Not seen a honey bee this year yet, have people stopped keeping them or is it just around here.

We seem to be okay here, lots of various bees, lots of various birds but not so much on the butterflies. T'other Half said he saw a Red Admiral but I didn't, just lots of Cabbage Whites and little grey things.

Definitely it contributes @pete . No consideration given for wildlife during planning, just more housing :(

And these house builders promise to build parks, GP Surgery, School etc in their planning application, but don't follow through with their promise and the Local & District Councils do nothing.
