@Clare G I've had F microphylla for about10 years now and it flowers for about 10 months of the year and is almost evergreen. The Beast from the East in 2018 did cause it to defoliate and kill off a few branches.

Hey everyone, I have a fuschia in a pot that’s looking a bit bare! I had meant to prune in back earlier in the year but never got to it. Is it to late to do it now?!

I would just tidy it up and give it a feed.

Good choice of fuchsias at Morrisons. Just £1 each.
I got 2 from the earlier deliveries ... till gall mites have them again.
I compared costs of predators and necessity to apply them regularly outside and decided not to go with them. Especially when fuchsias around in the city are affected.

I've had difficulty sourcing decent sized bush fuchsias but fortunately my cuttings are coming on space and should be a good size by the autumn
