@CanadianLori there are different types of Wet and Forget for different areas. I have one that I use on paved steps. The week before last we had our house roof tiles sprayed with another kind to remove all the moss.

The first time for a couple of weeks that the weather has allowed me out to play. :) I spent a couple of hours strimming.

Than you @Sheal . My greenhouses have long grooves on each panel and yuck builds up in there just out of my reach. I've had to get up on a ladder in the past to clean the green stuff out but this stuff might be dandy to just spray at them!

I spent some time in the garden chatting "over the fence" with my new neighbour. He wants to start a vegetable garden next year and I told where the most sunlight hits for the longest part of the day. So refreshing to have someone nice next door! (no, the hillbillies didn't move but now one side is good!)

How nice for you, Lori! :blue thumb: Always great to have a fellow-gardener next door, especially one who enjoys a similar type of gardening. I gather you grow quite a few edibles yourself. :)

He is relatively new to gardening as this is the first home he has owned which has more than a handkerchief of concrete for a back yard. I'll have to take care with what advice I offer as I'm not a guru.

I am only growing cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, zucchini and cannabis as far as consumables go. And not in large quantities.

As a BTW, I just used my last Kelsae onion from 2021 :)

It was with some trepidation that I Googled that but I am glad to see it is an Algae cleaner.
My brother went to "Wet and Wild" while on holiday in Orlando. When he Googled it to show me it was about 50th on the list.:panic:

Yeah, you might want to be careful Googling that, not always the most conventional types of water sport! :roflol:

So saddened to hear of all the ailments here. I'm not clear if it's always a question of incapacity or pain from your posts, but please my friends, if it's joint pain do yourselves a favour and give these a go, I'm pretty sure I've mentioned them before but always worth mentioning again if just one person sees similar improvements! My own pain was making me absolutely miserable for months, but after 6-8 weeks I was noticing improvement and it's becoming increasingly better by degrees. Down to around 2/3rds of the initial pain in a couple of areas which were the worst, but mostly half and often right down to just a dull ache where there was irritating pain in others. :) Never give up hope of improvement and please keep seeking! :grphg:

                  Hugs,

                  Nick

@pete was a double for him! :blue thumb:

It works well, is not cheap and takes some months to show good results. So don't expect it to work immediately.

I can post up some photos if you wish showing the progression over time. :)

I have a number of supplements including those and they certainly help with the aches and pains.

It doesn't help with making me less miserable as I've been practicing for years to be a miserable old git! Most people say I didn't need to practice. :heehee:

It's very cold, dark and damp up here so I was planning a weekend of books and red wine.:yahoo: However, things started to happen in sequence I was unable to break.

My Fishbone cactus had totally outgrown it's hanging planter so needed a new home further away from the window. I had a kind of trendy plant stand with even trendier basket but it just didn't look right.

I painted the stand white (we Nordics like all colours as long as they are white) and potted the Fish up only to discover that the new bowl is 1cm too small for the stand.

:ideaIPB: Pot lid! What a perfect solution! Ignoring the moans from the family who apparently like their pot lids on their pots, :noidea:I unscrewed the knob and voila- perfect!

                              fish2.jpg

The only nag was that other plants started to look tatty and required new pots and a good scrub.

Then the window started to look dirty so had to be washed. Next, the door stood out as the cobweb display of the year- scrub scrub scrub.

Did some weeding and pulled out a fistful of Aloe Aristata to allow cacti some more room and in the process spread compost all over the newly cleaned plant table and the floor. :wallbanging:

                              weeding1.jpg

Got tired and just managed to finish the first proper watering of the borders when the heavens opened for yet another round of endless rain.

                              Discovered this
                              wishywashy.jpg

And I'm 110% sure I never bought it (wishy washy colour and an odd shape- not my cup of tea!) but since I have at least 10 coming up in neat formations and containers, I blame J Parkers of mislabelling things. Well, it's not as obvious as with my Poundland bulbs some years ago, I had a magnificent display of 59 pink tulips and one yellow. :heehee:

It's raining hard at the moment so I might finally get my book and wine out. :)
