That's an interesting page @Upsydaisy. It described exactly the pain I was having. Last week the chiropractor put his arms around my chest and suddenly squeezed sharply. I heard a click ! and the chiropractor said that was one of the ribs going back into place. I had a bit of a fright but have had no breathing pains since.
My back is awfully painfull though and I can't lie down properly so I'm hoping he can do something to help me there.

    Lifting heavy objects ? ... me ??? :whistle::heehee:
Actually I'm thinking of buying a trolley, a neighbour has one and it's wonderful.

I hope the builders turn up for you @Victoria, it's such a nuisance when they get delayed.
My roof man should have been here last week but the scaffold men didn't put it high enough and he couldn't reach the parts he needed to reach, so I had to wait for them to come and make the scaffold higher and then wait for the roof man to have another day when he could do it.

Hope you are both enjoying your day

        Good day
@Michael Hewett :yikes: I'd be scared silly if that happened to me! I hope you recover quickly and stay away from stressing your cage again!

We have light clouds mostly obliterating the sun but it is still pleasant. 60f 18c :) I've just done a few additions to my water lines before giving everything a drink this morning.

I awoke earlier than I wanted to but laid there for ages listening to a loud helicopter circling round and round out there. I think it was spraying for moths in the nearby trails and forests. The nearest trail to me is the bottom left of the map - copied from one of our visitor information sheets.

"Oakville's 200+ kilometers of recreational trails meander across all communities and connect all sections of the town. You can plan your cycling or walking route through the town's beautiful trails and roadways with the Cycle, Walk Oakville map."

Just having my first cuppa and going to read the news and go through my emails.

        Cheers :coffee:

          Thank you @CanadianLori ...
It must be nice to have those trails near your home, good to be able to get out in the fresh air .

            Hello everyone.

No plans set today as the weather is' iffy' ....and the forecast can't be reliably believed, so it's a ' go with the flow ' day today.

Hope you all have a good one .

              Flower Tiny Fairy.jpeg Morning all.

It is a fine day and not too hot with a nice breeze so it would be nice if you know who appeared! It's the piles of wood/batons on The Courtyard, the parking area and on the side of the house that is unsightly and in the way of pots and borders.

Trust everyone has a good day whatever you do.

Good morning Vicky. I'm literally tied up in knots keeping everything crossed for you both....it's like our very own serial being aired live ' Will They..Or..Won't They..??

No honestly I'm not making light of it, I can imagine the upheaval / disruption it's inflicting on your day to day lives. You just want to scream, boil over.....and get it done with.

When we were going through preparations for taking our first builder to court back in the 80s we couldn't commence with the rubble he left us with until professional evidence had be documented. For months we lived with one water tap only..down the end of our garden and a chemical toilet in the spare bedroom. We had to go to either my sister's or parents for showers and laundry washing.

Nightmare times indeed......you have my heartfelt sympathy.
                :grphg: xx

Ha, this is a quote from our experience in 1984 in Bucks. When one works and wears suits (as opposed to now) there is little comparison.

Our friend in Silves said it is raining there steadily so it may find us and it is getting clouded over here ... they come from Silves so I guess that will put paid to things!

                    Good day
It looks like another hot sunny day. The guessers are saying it will get well over 90f , 30 something Celsius. Then we're going back down to highs around "room temperature" 72f.

@Victoria I do hope the builders get on with your work and I couldn't "rate" your last post because I didn't understand it!

It is just after 6 here and I am exhausted as I had a hard time sleeping last night. There was a possible problem with some of the court documents so I worked on them until 10 and then slept only a few hours before my eyes opened at 3 and I couldn't settle down and doze off again. Things might have calmed for now. :fingers crossed: The trial is next Monday. :fingers crossed::fingers crossed:

I've got papers literally scattered over three rooms so I best get started gathering and organizing them before I do anything else.

                    Cheers :coffee:

Sorry Lori. The first paragraph was relating to Upsy's post about living in unheavel with building works when we worked with no facilities whereas now we are retired and don't have to dress up.

The second paragraph relates to our friend having rain 15 minutes from us so if it came our way the builders would not work as the workers live where the rain was.

The rain did not reach us ... but the workers never came! :wallbanging:

Thanks @Victoria. I can be a bit thick sometimes. Sounds like some of our contractors have been over there giving prima donna lessons. Have they said how many days it would take to complete so that you can at least count down the hours after they do show up?

OMG @Victoria , it must feel like forever. Rose coloured glasses aren't good enough for this situation. You'll have to don your wineglasses!
