WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

We had a little rain with the thunder yesterday evening but I forgot to mention the 2nd heavy shower we had between 3 & 3.30pm. It may not have lasted as long as the heavy shower in the morning but it sure did come down - even if it didn't last even 5mins!

Today we started off the day with lots of lovely, bright sunshine & hardly a cloud in the sky. Unfortunately it didn't last more than a few hours as by 9am the clouds were beginning to increase - in number & size! Since around 10am we haven't seen any more sunshine, (as I'm writing this the sun is in a fight with the clouds as it pops out for a few seconds every now & then!), only clouds. No rain today & I believe we are forecast a bright sunny evening.

 

Not sure what has happened but suddenly its gone wall to wall blue sky. A bit odd really.

17C, hardly any breeze so it feels warm.

We've been out all day and have only just got back home ,there was a very light shower where we were but nothing here.

 

Got to 23c and sunny all afternoon. Currently sunny and 21c with a fresh breeze.

 

A few showers but only a gentle breeze. Another chilly night to come but warming up nicely tomorrow...

I feel less disappointed in my poor show of seedlings when I read that 2 million sown around the Tower of London didn't show.....

All day it's been cloudy with rain showers. Now the cloud is clearing and a blue sky. Temp 13c

 

It was pelting down about an hour ago and just as I was coming out of the shop with two egg flats (5 dozen). It dropped the temperature to 66f 17c. And cooled me down too. At my age, running on wet pavement might not be wise so I walked at my usual pace so got a little wet. Maybe I should have tried running as I did have a cushion if I fell..

 

Just trying to work out what you do with 5 dozen eggs.

 

I only had 2 1/2 dozen left . Ice cream takes 5 yolks, Christmas cake lots and lots, hard cooked for snacks.

And just so you know, I try to only hard cook the eggs on sunny days outside in the sun oven. At least in the summer my kitchen doesn't smell like someone's been flapping their back cheeks

The clouds are starting to move out. No, just heard thunder so I must be seeing things.

Tonight we go down to 54f. Lovely for sleeping
