The weather forecast is just a joke living here; why let us know the rain is coming when it's just been and below it shows four days with sunshine bet it's four days with more rain.

I cut the grass this morning and did more weeding before it rained and have just done the ironing; the jobs around the bungalow and gardens are seamless; all I want to do is to have a bit of time to myself to play my violins; during ironing I answered the phone; it was the main dealer where we have our car serviced and MOT'd so now they've sent two emails; a letter and now a phone call; it's not due for another month so I wonder how many more reminders although they haven't tried smoke signals but this would be difficult given it's seldom dry long enough. I politely pointed out my year consists of twelve months not ten. I'll book the appointment when I'm ready.

I had a poor violin practice this morning unaided by the petrol mower massaging my hands and arms but I grab the time I can in the studio.

It is 33c with no breeze so we are in the lounge with the a/c on rather than sitting outside. We put the a/c on yesterday evening for a couple of hours too.

A warm day here today. Lots of sunshine to start the day but by mid morning the clouds began to shut the sun up for today. All pm been very cloudy though it seems at 9.30pm the clouds are rolling away & the sky is showing again!

According to the app we had only 18C max today but overnight the min is supposed to be 14C! The wind wasn't nearly as bad as yesterday but still a little strong during the morning/afternoon.

I consulted with the weather app on my phone & it seems the next few days the winds will stay fairly low at about 10mph. So I put my plants back on the balcony railings! Hope they are right about the strength of the winds for the next few days!

 

I think autumn has arrived early this year
