Hazy sun with a light breeze and 23c. The forecast says a high of 31c with a high temperature warning. Guess that means the 36c I read about yesterday.

Good morning folks, it's a beautiful sunny start to the day. 16c heading to 20 later with a gentle breeze. The forecast is 28c next week which I'm looking forward to. Am I the only one who likes it hot?

Sounds like a hot day in store for you Vicky.

The only downside ( like in hubs home country, some places are in their 40s!!:yikes::phew:) is that it unfortunately means people have to stay indoors during the daytime or create a lot of shade.

I know we moan and whinge
on about our weather but to me on the whole it's perfect.:dbgrtmb:

I love that we can spend our entire day outside ...and that we have enough rain to keep it green and lush looking too.

Winter...hmmm...that could do with a bit of tweaking, but last winter was absolutely fine.

There is hot and then there is unrelentless hot! It can be very tiring.

I worked in the middle east for periods when it hit 40c that was about right for me. I spent my lunchtimes on the beach whilst the locals stayed indoors. Mad dogs and englishmen etc

It is tolerable when there is low humidity and a breeze helps. However, I have found it easier to cope with when I was younger.

                                Hi,

Very interesting wiseowl; would this be 62C?

I wouldn't know JWK; we live in Yorkshire so don't do hot but we could enjoy a bit of global warming.

The rain has finally stopped but the wind won't ease up.

                                Kind regards, Colin.
