      We are experiencing strong and gusty winds and according to the local forecast, they are due to last at least another week. The guy next door to me is building a garage and all the temporary roof covering has been ripped off.

        We had already reached 30c by 10.30am and the lounge digital thermometer said 26.5c so on came the a/c. We also have a Gallileo thermometer on the bureau and all five balls were down. It is 32c outside now, a little cloudy and no breeze.

          I like it when it's 17-20c with full sun, but if it's cloudy i like it around 20-25c any thing above 25c i hate because i sweat like mad and that's when i stand still if i'm working hard in 25c + i get very weak and have to sit down before i fall down which has happen

            I do too. I didn't do my 15 minute static cycle this morning as I felt too weak. I am always lethargic when the heat suddenly goes up sharply but it passes as I aclimatise. The cats are also lethargic. Thankfully this is not the norm.

                Hi,

                How can it stop raining when it's not raining; they are amongs us;

                upload_2022-6-11_13-49-13.png

                Wind here too Jocko but here on the exposed valley side we have a prevailing wind all the time; I've just been up our mountain of a garden and thought I'd end up nailing my cap on.

                Last year after putting in lots of hard graft the weather flattened our beautiful wildflower meadow; if it does this again I'll consider planting 6" thick concrete to see how the weather will attack that.

                Kind regards, Colin.

                  We maxed out at 36.5c but are now down to a cooling 35c and there is a breeze.

                  We have stayed indoors all day and, just our luck, our internet speed went down to .18 and couldn't even connect so we binge TVd, Vera, Outside Edge and The Midwich Cuckoos. Now we have a ,83 connection.

                    I'm from Yorkshire originally too, it was nearly warm enough for me once in the summer of 1976. If ever I go back to visit family I have to pack some extra string vests.

                            It's been a lovely sunny day till now, there was 30 seconds of rain which has evaporated straight away. Sun is back out and still very pleasant at 18c

                              My car read 24c when I drove home at 4pm.
                              For some reason I keep shivering.
