WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

It's 23c and sunny periods here.
I know it's no great distance but I've been to Yorkshire in June,a few times, and also Cornwall, and to me both places do seem mostly cooler than here, mostly it's about actual air temperature when the sun goes in.

But then of course we all get variations.

Thanks pete; I've just been spraying weeds along the lane and no sooner started than a stiff breeze joined me; just what I didn't want but if I wait for the breeze/wind to drop giving a rare calm day the weeds will be like triffids; I've also sprayed small patches of weeds in the garden; I'm fed up of doing weeding over and over again so I'm fighting back. I now prefer a bare patch of soil than spending time pulling weeds out only for them to grow again; spraying kills them dead and it's quicker to replace a few plants than to be forever weeding.

The sun popped out a couple of times making it pleasant but I wish the breeze would take a hike.

Nice one wiseowl; are you on holiday abroad; it's 15C here but nice where I am because I'm indoors with the CH radiator just behind me.

Thanks wiseowl; yes we don't have problems with milk going off but we could have problems with hard milk.

My wife and I have only ever been to Kent once and this was just after we married in 1976; we were staying with relations for a week in Sanderstead so explored whilst there; Kent is a beautiful county; we also visited Eastbourne which too was very pretty but we disliked Brighton; the drive along the coast from Eastbourne to Brighton was interesting. That's the last holiday we ever had away from home; we were driving a Reliant Robin.

You beat us by a good margin without holiday away from home but why leave home if we're happy to remain home. I don't envy you your time in Kenya.

It's 15C here at the moment; quite breezy but no rain; it had better rain soon or we'll be bumping into stand pipes. Half way through the year; it won't be long before Christmas items are on the store shelves once again.

Another miserable day. Overcast. Light showers and a stiff wind. No gardening was done today. Again.

 

Sunny. 19C at the moment.

 

Oh how I wish ... we won't even go that low tonight. Currently 31c. I will be pleased when we get back to normal.

 

For once Vicky I can honestly say I'm not envious of your weather. A very rare event indeed!!
