    Hello @Purple Streaks

    Nice to see you here.

If you mean the Ornamental Grass half way up and on the left in the Photos, I believe it is:

    Golden Japanese Forest Grass

    I think :noidea:

I am really pleased with the work done thus far, and Yes, this is how it should of been done originally, I am only out of Pocket by £3400 thanks to the original Company but, hey ho.

There is some staining on the Slabs but from what I understand, it is just moisture working it's way through the Stone and should disappear in a few weeks, especially in this Weather.

The Lawns should be Laid on Monday so there will be more Photos to come.

    Thanks

    Kevin

      Thank you Kevin

The same happened with slabs we bought for our previous property. especially in hot weather.

But somehow it didn't look out of place .

Will look forward to seeing your photos but one thing I did notice :wow:

your garden appears to be larger now.

      Hello @Purple Streaks

I hope it is not bigger, it was hard enough to maintain before

Actually though, the Border on the Far Side, with the Bird Feeders, is actually a few inches wider since the Patio and Setts have now been done correctly :)

      Thanks

      Kevin

Sometimes I wish I had a smaller garden. I was out mowing my back lawn in a strong wind today, it's hard work especially with a slope and banking. :phew: It's the smallest of the three I have too.

        Hello @Sheal

I have some Respite from Mowing the Lawns for a few weeks whilst the new Lawns establish :)

I also need a new Lawn Mower, I have a Flymo at the moment but it must be nearly 30 Years Old by now.

I am looking at a Cordless Mower as it will be easier to manoeuvre without the Cables getting in the way.

        Thanks

        Kevin

          Hi Kevin,

If you miss mowing your lawns there's always mine to be done - if you feel like volunteering.

Your mower has done well and cordless ones seem to be popular now. The battery charge isn't long enough for me to mow my lawns so it's practical for me to have a petrol mower.

          Hello @Sheal

I would love to Mow your Lawns, you are just too far away, sorry :)

Do you happen to know of the Best Makes of Cordless Mowers and which to avoid?

          I am currently looking at:

          Bosch
          McAllister
          Honda
          Hayter

The last two are more expensive but I would be willing to Pay extra for Quality.

          Thanks

          Kevin

I don't think you would. They are very uneven and on an incline, with tree roots, rocks and various other things to avoid. Thank you for the offer but I think the commute would prove difficult too. :)

I was going to post a couple of images for you but I've just realised I haven't got an up to date image of my back garden. I'll have to remedy that very soon.

I know very little about cordless mowers but know quite a few members here own them. I had a look around GC for a thread on cordless mowers but there only seems to be posts here and there. Perhaps you could start your own thread and see what our friends have to say.

          Hello @Sheal

How about a couple of Goats :)

You will also get the added benefit of Free Goats Milk.

I will start a New Thread in General Gardening Discussion regarding the Cordless Mower.

          Thanks

          Kevin

            Hi Kevin,

Goats will eat everything unfortunately and I have enough problems with deer. :doh:There are a lot of sheep and cattle around here but they make too much mess. I've had both in the garden uninvited, having managed to escape their fields.

A mower thread is good. No doubt there will be good and bad points but they will help you make up your mind.

            Hello all

I hope you are all well.

The Landscapers have been and Laid the Lawns.

These are Photos from Today, of the Back Garden as I have no Camera in the Front:

                Hello all

The Landscaping is all complete, so here is a Comparison:

                Before the Landscaping:

                08-06-2022_09-01-41_0001.jpg

                After the Landscaping:

                20-06-2022_12-22-10_0046.jpg

                Thoughts?

I will try to get some Photos of the Front Garden at some point, when it is Quieter.

                Thanks in advance

                Kevin
