Do what I did Colin, hang out the washing and it starts raining

10c lower than yesterday, thank the Lord.

 

Not a bad day but very windy.

 

A few little " showerettes " this afternoon....a bit windy from the East but a comfertable temperature .
Rain forecast by 9 pm this evening, and quite a few hours of it too,
we'll see....

We have had a yellow weather warning in place since 2pm until 7pm this evening for Lightening...not sure why as we haven't been forecast any rain or thunder.

Can you get it without thunder?

 

Down to 18c here now and feels a bit chilli in the wind.
Overcast.

Thanks John for your suggestion; given our dire climate I cracked it many years ago and bought a tumble drier which is used all year round; not only does it stop the rain soaking the washing it also prevents the birds from bombing it. Exterior painting though is a real pain; when the last brush or roller stroke is applied down comes the rain; it drives me mad.

The forecasters got it right today when they forecast rain first thing this morning; yes it's rained but only 11 hours late it's just started to rain and it's been a miserable day today.

No need to rub it in wiseowl.

Oh and we just had a dust shower, my car is filthy.

17c in Ramsgate, quite cold in the wind, what a change from yesterday's 28c.

 

Still dry and 18C now but a tad breezy, Our warning for Lightening has been lifted...no idea what that was about.

 

Sunshine and light showers, with what seems to be an almost permanent strong wind at the moment. Just 14C/57F

I think we'll have a late summer this year too.
