Are there any instructions on the labels @Sheps ? I give my Tom's about a litre of feed every week but it depends on the concentration of the fertiliser.

Is Tomrite given via watering can enough or am I abusing my poor plants. But I don't work any more so, in theory should be able to talk to them every day!

Tomorite is a complete feed I think so your plants should be ok. Start using it when the first flowers show.

@JWK just this, but it doesn't give a specific amount to give each plant, just how to make up 6L.

First year of growing tomatoes in a green house, have two plants, plum variety and two plants, cherry variety in stood up (rectangle) grow bags and both are getting black ends on about half of the fruit. Any ideas what I am doing wrong please?

The plants are not touching each other between the bags.

I have gardeners delight in ring culture on the other side, they went in much later so not set fruit yet, but want to check it’s just my techniques at fault and not something that will spread across all plants.

It looks like blossom end rot to me.
Usually a watering problem, but I think it can also be a calcium deficiency.

Blossom end rot seems to affect some varieties more than others. I have had it around this time of year in the past. The fruit are inedible but I've found the plant eventually recovers after a few weeks.

Some advice here, having had it myself I've never really solved the problem except by growing varieties that are not susceptible.

I very rarely get blossom end rot these days I grow in quadgrows with plain water in the tank and feed into the pots and always incorporate calcified seaweed in the compost at all stages of potting up putting 100ml in the final pot.

@sandymac thanks...how much feed are you using per Quadgrow pot, at the moment I'm feeding each pot 500ml once a week, is that enough.

I'm trying to feed an amount of liquid that stays within the compost in the pot and doesn't run through into the reservoir.

Half a litre sounds a massive amount but I've never used quadgrows.

Yes @Sheps approx 1L per plant, maybe a bit more as they are getting bigger. Mine are in 11 L pots sunk into soil so I can't tell if it is running through the bottom.
