Here was the last clump (23 kilos) you may recognise it from the very first pictures I posted at the beginning of this thread, where it stood at the very back, unsuspecting of its forthcoming fate, but with a massive barrier to defend it:


Perseus must have had less trouble with the Medusa. All there’s left to do is to remove the 70cm deep corrugated plastic that stopped the thing (quite successfully, actually) from invading the rest of the garden.

A nice thought @NigelJ but it looks more like an Iceberg rose to me. The lady concerned (my daughter-in-law) is American, so definitely not called Rose.
