@Balc I have only seen 15 species of wild Orchids, all in Dorset but there are 57 nationally!!

I have no idea of the names of either of these orchids. There were quite a few in bloom yesterday while out walking.

@Michael Hewett Thanks for your answer, they grow all over the place here & there must be 100s of 1,000s of them within a couple of minutes walk radius of our flat!

@Balc it's good to know that there are still wild plants to be seen despite never ending building of housing estates. I live rurally and am surrounded by nature in all it's guises and the orchids are a bonus. :)

@Sheal You are very lucky then! All the open spaces around here are now fast becoming "closed" spaces with the house building going on & we have now lost the sense of spaciousness we once had! :(

The older villages are being spoilt here by mass building of identical housing @Balc. It wouldn't be so bad if they were to mix the styles of them but they all look the same.

@Sheal, the Orchids are Common Spotted which come in many shades of pink and purple and occasionally, white.

Ragged Robin in the local forest, at the sides of the track, see so few of them these days, also some Eye Bright.

Considered to be one of the gardeners banes, I quite like a Bindweed, especially this colour.
