        Well maybe not 'winter' but it feels very October-ish, however I believe we are heading for some better weather in the next few days (I hope they're right)

                Perhaps the forecasters are sitting in front of a roaring woodburner pete. My forecast is usually bang on; I look out of the window. :biggrin:

                    An absolute scorcher of a day. Didn't drop below 14°C overnight and wall-to-wall sunshine has seen the temperature climb to 24°C.
                    Unfortunately, the forecast for tomorrow is back to winter. Typical Scottish summer.
