Sunny with a bit of cloud and a gentle breeze from the north west temp 25c

 

Warm ..a bit too warm when you're out and about, we're off out again this afternoon. I so want to just sit out under the sunshade in our garden .

I wandered up the garden this morning; it was so hot I needed watering.




It's not often I need to proect the cars interior leather from the sun; a double bed sheet folded over is a perfect fit for our car; tied to the front door handles with cotton tape and tucked under the wipers; it makes a huge difference.

We are at 30c with a light breeze. I am indoors in the a/c. Also have the ceiling fan on as with 5 meter ceilings and air rising, the fan on reverse pushes it back down ... to me.

 

It's only 3pm & already we have 27C!

 

27C with a feel like of 30C . Just got home and I'm not going anywhere else today! We've been out all day apart from popping home for a quick bite at lunchtime.
How do people cope with carrying on normally!!


Where my hubs come from some places have a feel like temp right now of 47C!! And it's now almost 9pm too .

Heat is good if you don't have anything to do.

 

Sunny spells and pleasantly warm but a disappointingly strong wind. Again. I think Scotland has been moved to the "Roaring Forties".

 

We are now at 31.5c so have decided not to go sit outside till dinner as we normally do. Even though there is a whisper of a breeze, it's up in the trees and not at ground level. Dinner will be chicken breast sandwiches on brown with crispy lettuce.

 

Well the weather forecast is for warmer weather moving up your way over the weekend, you should notice a difference on Sunday.

Down here it's 27C this afternoon! Very little wind & now overcast skies.
