Whats Looking Good In July 2022

Our lilies finally started to bloom...


No idea what those plants are, but my mother in law gifted them to us. She is now envious about them because ours grow double the size with triple the flowers



And lastly, one of the many raspberry harvests this year. After making tons of jam, I decided to turn them into smoothies instead. They also keep the birds occupied so other berries have a chance.

Hibiscus moscheutos - flowers the size of tea-plates!



Vitex agnus-castex The photo doesn't do justice to the lovely, vibrant colour, and it doesn't need watering!

Giant Lillies
Their fragrance is so heady and beautiful it's filling the air in our garden today, we still have plants waiting to bloom too.

 

How long do they bloom?

 

I have a Vitex trifolia ... I hope it keeps smallish!

Depends on the weather and breeze ( we are a wind tunnel at times). I would say a bloom lasts about 5-6 days and the whole stem of blooms 2-3 weeks, a tad longer in ideal times maybe.
