WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

It was 31c earlier but the sun has disappeared, almost, and the wind has got up.

 

We had overnight rain and a low of 15°C. Today had been, for the most part, grey and overcast but no wind. The sun tried to break through, unsuccessfully, around lunchtime and the temperature this afternoon has reached 24°C. According to the Met Office, we have now officially moved into the Amber Alert area.

 

It isn't as unbearable as I'd thought because there's a nice gentle breeze, but the air feels thick ...

 

The sun came back out after half an hour, just some high murk going over, seems to be and afternoon thing at the moment here.
Its all still coming from the west.

 

Hi,

28C at the moment and feels hot indoors; I'm about to remove the windscreen sun cover from the car.

Unless I'm grafting I feel lazy so this morning until dinner time I got stuck in; I'm changing a steep path into steps; I installed the path in order to drag the heavy petrol garding gear up the mountain from the hut but since then have made a second hut. The ground is rock hard but I'm expecting the usual monsoon shortly.


This path really is steep and highly dangerous in bad weather so it's dangerous most of the year.

The first hut I made since then it's cloned higher up the garden.

Heavy work when it's hot but usually for me it's heavy work whilst windy; cold and pouring down. I knocked off at dinnertime it was heating up and so was I.

We didn't hit 30c ... and there is a breeze ...

 

Well we did pass the 30C mark this afternoon - just - as we had 31C according the the Met Office app! We are now down to only 24C which is higher than the average max daytime temp for this time of the year! We also have 45% humidity!

We are still on track for 38-40C during Monday & Tuesday!

 

Cloudy for most of the day and very little breeze, top temperature 24C/75F. My local forecast is showing 82% humidity at the moment.
