              Good morning everyone.
Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

We're still keeping our fingers crossed for some much needed rain this coming week but so far our forecast, up until the 5th Aug, doesn't show any.

I think next year we'll have to look out for desert hardy plants

Still not doing much in the garden at the moment for fear of disturbing the soil and losing more moisture.

              Have an enjoyable day everyone.
              :spinning:

It is going to be a rather warm one here today ... and tomorrow ... and ...

This will keep the activity level down outside. T'other Half didn't get much done yesterday as he cut his hand between the thumb and forefinger so he "played" on his mobile most of the day adding things. Everything here operates by mobile ... a/c, TV, lights, etc, etc, much to my chagrin!

Turns out there are two colour batches of the wall tiles and we have both! T'other Half didn't notice till he was well into the second batch. He went to the DIY to complain but as he didn't take the empty boxes with him as proof they would not do anything. He bought more of the one but now has to redo a large section!!!

Have a relaxing Sundayy ... I will after I exercise and water my seedlings/plantlets.

                  Good day
Oh @Flumpy you're right, a cut like that @Victoria is nasty. Made me shiver just reading it. I too do hope it heals quickly.

The Christmas party was fun. It was a good way to make up for everyone being kept apart these last few Christmas holidays. It was very hot but we were all in the shade and there was a nice breeze to help keep the shine off our faces.

@Upsydaisy I am looking at a bit of grey in the skies. According to the guessers, it was supposed to be a full on down pour by now. Fat chance! I feel your frustration. I'm cheating though. The sprinkler system is giving everything a generous amount of water twice a day. I much prefer the gentle rain to this brute though.

I'm listening to Murder Maps and will soon be looking at "my show". Oh, and I'll be doing Hilda again. I put too much hair dressing in last night and need to get it gone!

                  Cheers

Thank you Flumpy and Lori. He was washing a glass, one I have my protein shakes in, quite heavy glass actually. Got it washed with hydrogen peroxide till the blood stopped then a finger bandaid (with four wings on it). He says it is okay today just feels funny.

I did that in 1972 in UK when we were visiting from Alabama. Ended up in L&D Hospital as it was very fine glass, got 4 stitches which got infected on the journey home! Still hurts if I even tap it on something.

Love Murder Maps.. what's wrong with me!:heehee:

Anyone seen Witness Number No.3....nightmare inducing!

Lori we have got to go against my major hate and get the hosepipes out for the borders. Not worried about the lawn though as that soon perks after and whenever we get a shower of rain.
Not happy about seeing the dreaded hosepipes being dusted off and connected up to the taps at all.
