I was wrong, it was a DHL scam e-mail saying I owed 1,95 Euros Customs ... the e-mail was not from DHL nor addressed to me!

Did you take your own photos or were they from a Photographer/Photo Booth?

 

Took our own, we did 10 years ago as well. I had an email this afternoon saying they were going to start processing mine now too.

 

Yep misread the bit about not in your area, thought you meant you don’t live in Hampshire anymore night night

Slightly cooler today...but still looking dry.

Had to cut back a few very wilted plants yesterday, but I'm certain they will spring into life again all refreshed.

Have to go veg and fruit shopping this morning, we're going early as the schools have now broken up and the shops will probably get busy later.

That's about all that is a definite today.

Good morning all.

Should be a little more pleasant tonight but I will still hibernate as our Yellow warning is still on till 7pm. The Orange warning ended 7pm last night. I will just have my usual day of cycling, exercise and tending to my seedlings/plantlets which are all coming along nicely.

T'other Half has a busy day, meeting a customer for some music equipment (selling), meeting our friend John who has the Builder's truck, collecting our furniture and bringing it home ... that is all this morning, then he and John will go for a beer and toastie lunch.

I was just looking up What to Do for Adults indoors When it is Hot Outside. This is priceless ... Make Boozy Watermelon Slushies with Vodka or Rum So you are done by noon and legless so I guess you sleep all afternoon and have a sleepless night !

Just had an email, my passport has been approved and is now being printed!!, Not bad going as it's less than a fortnight since we applied.

 

It is a fortnight today that I sent mine off. It is printed, sent and I am (im)patiently waiting for DHL to deliver it.

 

Oh Good Grief, I mean Good day
I forgot to visit here this morning as I was getting ready to make a really nice lunch for my friend (one of the breast cancer survivors) to celebrate her getting the "all clear" from the Oncologist.

We had a lovely time. The weather held up nicely. Not a lot of sunshine but very pleasant and not too hot. I had picked up some thick rib eye steaks when I was over the border yesterday and made a salad to go with the meat and also jacket potatoes. Lots of butter, sour cream and fresh chives were ready for the potatoes and the steaks grilled up a charm. We had copious amounts of iced water and then tea with our chocolate fudge cake dessert. She just left a few minutes ago and I am so glad she had a good time.

I am also glad that @Flumpy is now straightened out on the "Where in the county is @Upsydaisy" conundrum. My head was spinning!

@Michael Hewett we Canucks usually have lots of socializing going on around Christmas so the "Christmas in July" party was to make up this last Christmas also lost to covid. A good time was had by all.

@Victoria it sounds like your world is getting back into Hozho. Balance being restored

Good morning everyone, hope you're all feeling fit and well today.

Managed a few bits in the garden yesterday, so much nicer having the cooler temps.
We had a friend round for a coffee and chat in the afternoon, he always brings his mischievous little dog with him and she is so cute and lovable.

I'm meeting up with a friend in town and we're going to the cinema this afternoon, I think it's my 3rd film this month!!
