WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

Another day similar to the others of this week! Warmish & cloudy but staying dry. We really need the rain as everything is suffering. The forecasters seem to have forgotten the word we general use for the wet stuff that falls out of the skies & keeps the grass green & the plants growing.

Tomorrow we are forecast a rise in the temps to a max of 28C but no H2O.

The air was very still and the sun shone until mid afternoon when it gradually turned to complete cloud cover again. We've seen very little sun up here this summer which has kept the temperatures lower than usual, but humidity still remains fairly high. An exception today at 21C/70F.

 

Wet start to the day overcast all day , got drench at tea time and its raining now until the morning .

It has been very windy/gusty all night, still is, 18c going to 32c and breezy all day. Nice.

 

Hi,

A wet black hole this morning; headlights on auto as I visited Morrison's supermarket at 7 o'clock; the drizzle really was soaking wet and plenty of it. Forecast better for later so I'll be able to play out doing more grafting building garden steps which are nearing completion.

The nights are drawing in and the mornings are darker; won't be long before they meet. I've seen Yorkshire in all its glory this year and it's been wonderful with highest ever temperature recorded and no rain for days which has been rare. I've got my happy head on.

A rather cool night....got up and shut the bedroom window in the early hours.
Today the sun is out and about and looks to be a warm Summer's day.
