I'm with Southern Water, no hosepipe ban yet.

 

32C in my shady bolthole on our Kitchen patio.

 

It just seems to be the central strip of Hampshire then.

 

All the Kent areas not impacted by the hosepipe ban

Interesting Pete, it's amazing to discover how broken up and intermingled these areas are.

Makes no sense really as although they are different companies the water must come from local sources

For instance, Southern water isn't pumping it from Hampshire to east Kent, they must be extracting it from the same source as SE water.

 

They need us to sort it all out....there seems to be no logic whatsoever imo.

 

Presumably it's all been cobbled together over the last 100 yrs and nobody has ever bothered to sort it out.

If this is going to happening more often and as we are an island....surely desalination plants need to be increased. I know it won't be that simple but it's definitely the way we should be directing the £s to.
