Nothing, the hot weather has drained all my energy :frown:
I may try to do some watering after the sun goes down.

Same here I just swept all the patios, moss is drying out and chunks falling off from the house roof and a surprising amount of acorns and Oak leaves are also being shed, also did some deadheading this morning. We will do a few other bits later once the temps start to decline.

Went out this evening and watered all the hanging baskets and flower pouches. You wouldn't think I had watered them this morning. They were bone dry. The wind doesn't help.

Early morning I did some watering. Then I did some watering and then I did some watering!

Then it was time to harvest runners, French beans and courgettes. Picked up more windfall apples but left the pears as the wasps had got them. Then I did some watering!!!!

Eight hours indoors for both of us but Mrs Shiney is now doing some watering.

Did I mention that we did some watering?

Out with the hose again and did all bar my bit of garden. My bit is shaded so hadn't dried out.

Blackfly are back on some of the beans so when it's light enough to see properly (now) I shall hose them off. Hosepipe, here I come!

Guess what I've been doing to … watering , rarely use the hose but some plants were starting to show signs of wilting mainly the huge eupatorium - hydrangea annabelle and the veronciastrum Diane next to it of course watered the pots etc . I never get on with hose always knocking things over with the hose pipe .

Mowed the lawn this morning its a nice lush green ;) you must we all GREEN with envy :heehee: sorry I'll stop for now , I do have a brown patch where I spilled some fertiliser though

Went out this morning and ran my new rotary cultivator over the shrubbery. I also put some more horticultural gypsum on the clay lumps at the far end.
My Morning Glory has another flower on it. I only get one every couple of days and we have to search for them as they are always buried in the foliage. It is like a five-foot-high green snowman.
