YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2022

Although we probably only had 10 minutes or so in two spells, I am sharing a few drops with you.

It is overcast and fresh this morning and looks like we will get another drop or two. Hopefully it didn't wash away my seeds I planted yesterday as I left them out.

J is going to the Charity Shop later this morning to pick up some lamps he saw this morning. The person working didn't know how much they were so put his name on the, Got a call later saying 10 Euros (£8.45) for the four, two table, two hanging for the bar in The Baffa.

Good day
It is sunny and 58f at the moment. Oh, 13c I mean. The guessers say it will go up to 24c which will be a very pleasant atmosphere for puttering.

The girls are all gone home for the meantime and I will have a quiet day of puttering. I do have their bed linens to do and it will be perfect day for line drying them.

It does not look at all breezy so I think I'll practice flying my new drone. I have tried a couple of times yesterday but the wind pushed it around and out of my control. @wiseowl my hat goes off to you. This little exercise demonstrated just how much skill you need to get those pictures you share!

Good morning Lori ,have a great putterng day and lots of fun flying the drone, can you take pics as well? If so then guess what I'm going to say..... we'd love to see them!!

 

I haven't activated the wifi link yet. I'm only in the beginner stages. Just trying not to lose it or crash it! The wind picked up minutes after I posted so it is a no fly day.

Another day of not feeling very motivated, hopefully this heat will subside by Tuesday.

Couldn't get hold of my brother yesterday, no doubt all is OK otherwise we would have heard from the care team. Trouble is he seems obsessed with switching things off or unplugging various devices lately. Thankfully he can't reach the fridge/ freezer plug. I will attempt to make contact with him again this morning.

Nothing much else on our agenda really, just biding time until it cools down.

Good morning Upsydaisy, Vicky and all, it’s been a very stuffy night here and that’s with all windows open, my head is banging, I woke with my tongue feeling like carpet (very dry) so drinking more water all night. We are in the middle of decorating the bedroom at the moment before the new bed arrives on Friday.

It is another cool morning with some clouds moving in. Not unpleasant at all

I am going to have a nice morning. I have a little laundry to do but that is easily done during my show and also I'm going to trace onto clear plastic, a new sewing pattern. I'm still debating which variation to make.

I spoke with my brother, all is good.

We have to go into town today, can't put it off any longer...I tried! I'm really not looking forward to it but on the plus side I had a phone call to say that the couple of tops that I had ordered were in and ready for collection.

Today is a National Holiday (a Catholic one) so J is meeting Donald for lunch. Their normal place will be closed (restaurants often do that on holidays) so they will go to another nearby.

With the fresher weather my Hibiscus are budding up nicely so must see if I can get a pic or two.
