      With the slightly cooler weather here my Hibiscus rosa-sinensis are all budding up nicely. This is a strange one but beautiful that I nutured last year from a 10cm rooting. Today, three separate blooms on 'Pagoda Red' ..

              It's obviously a double form, the first flower is almost a double but you can see the original single flower that it was probably bred or selected from.
              It was probably still settling down last year when it put out that flower.
              Just my guess.

                  I had five flowers last year, all the same, just like the picture I bought.

                  I think they are all weird. My Peach Blow is sometimes a single and sometimes a double. On the Candy Pink one sometimes the flowers are huge and sometimes small. I have a double Red about to bloom in a day or so, so let's see how it turns out!

                        "Teddy Bear" sunflower. Too bad they didn't tell me it only grows to a height of 15"! But I love yellow :)

                                Aww..didn't it say the height on the pkt? I usually grow them but didn't this year.
                                I also use to grow them to edge my Dad's small pond with as he like them too. I think they're very cute looking.:biggrin:
