      It's looking like our last really warm day for the foreseeable future.
      Heavy rain forecast for tonight and wet most of tomorrow.

        We had some light rain first thing but it soon dried up and the rest of the day has been dry and warm.

          Noooo...not summers end! It used to turn cold very briefly in September, then warm up again. Strangely, it does exactly the same here, but not cold enough for a frost :) Then a lovely, long, colourful autumn....

                  Just a tad over 29C and very humid. As it was so hot we were forced to go out for lunch to a nice restaurant that has a very shady area. :noidea:

                            Yesterday & today have both been pretty warm days. In fact today we were verging on HOT with 29C! Today we had more in the way of sunshine that yesterday but still no rain - whatever they say in the Met Office app! They also forecast rain, thunder & lightening for tomorrow - I don't think I will holding my breath for long! :rolleyespink::biggrin:

                                We finally got it at 4.05 a.m. Lots of very bright lightning and house shaking thunder. It took out our power for a while. Very heavy rain will cause a bit of problem in some places round here but the garden is loving it :hapfeet:. Only our second lot of rain since early April.
