Thanks Vicky ,I went back for another look and could figure him out , I didn't see his ears at first ( so I enlarged the pic) and couldn't work out what I was suppose to be looking at. It's all become clear now and I can see he's a good looking cat!!
Must point out that I didn't have my glasses on at the time.

I have had nothing but computer problems starting the day.

It is bright out there but they sprayed the orchard first thing so it was noisy.

Can’t say I’m happy about last bank holiday , we got one day booked off for our Anniversary in September then that’s it until Spring 6 months . We’ve got up very early for Carpet fitters as we where told they would be very early, and yet we are still waiting

I have an appointment with the Neurologist on Thursday, 22 September at 8.10pm! I guess it could be sooner but I want it at Guia. 20 minutes away rather than the Hospital nearly an hour away.

Oh dear that doesn't sound like a good start to your day , it can only get better........

The spray isn't a smelly one I hope as that can linger......like the fertilizers and manure in the allotments behind us!!

Fortunately the spray was not smelly and they were finished by 9am.

I had computer problems yesterday also. Apparently it has something to do with one of our routers. I leave it to J to sort out but it is frustrating for me. I couldn't post this morning, Yesterday it would triple post!

I am having a "not with it" day feeling rather foggy and no oomph ... but it will pass.

It is going to be another nice day. The guessers are predicting rain later on and that's just fine with me

Yesterday I discovered that my re-installed umbrella clothes dryer was too wobbly and my design was garbage. So I dug out and started again, this time burying a large building brick - the kind with the three holes in it - as a new base. Now I've got to get the sledge hammer back out to pound in the pipe which I've inserted into one of the holes and which the umbrella will then slide into. I'll be glad when this little project is done.

Then I'm working out how to control the fall of a large branch when I get my chainsaw going again and cut down that offensive limb!

@Flumpy that is a loooong time between long weekends. I don't envy you that. We have this coming weekend (Labour Day) , then Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then New Years, and Family Day in February before next spring so I guess we're super lucky over here.

@Victoria that is almost eerie! Number one son, Jim, got a letter telling him about an appointment the same day, to get his vocal chords examined.

Oops, forgot to put out the hummingbird feeder - better get down there and do that right now. I have to bring it in at night else the raccoons attack it and use it as a power drink!

We get a nice break this Christmas as it falls on a Sunday so we get the Tuesday after Boxing day on the Monday off as well. Also as New Year is on a Sunday it means that Jan.2nd is also a bank holiday...so not at all.

I use to make sure that I spread my holidays out well. A week in Spring, two in Summer and one in Autumn. Wasn't bothered about Winter as we had the Christmas break to look forward to and also ....well the weather!!
