A bright, quiet and calm start to the day which I assume will be warm.

You have been quiet Upsy so hope all is well with you and yours.

Just a normal Saturday here of this and that.

        Good day
Sounds like we're all in for a nice mundane weekend. Nothing exciting but that is good as it means nothing horrible too!

I've got my usual chores. I do want to get under my van to find out if I have a steering fluid hose that is leaking or if it is the pump itself. Sorta try to prepare in case of expensive news.

It is sunny and going to be fairly warm which is wonderful. I do like autumn but I'd like it not to start until October.

        Cheers all :coffee:

Good morning Upsydaisy hope your ok ?,

I’ve just woke to blue sky, it’s meant to be dry all day, so going out to pick up two bedside table lamps that I’ve ordered, then going looking at bathrooms and maybe lunch in between, off to make the breakfast and put the washing out :)

Lori, is your steering very stiff ? Or pulling to one side ?

The sun is breaking through hazziness and it is not supposed to be so hot today.

J has a few jobs to finish off before storm Danielle comes but we shouldn't get as much as Central and North. I have to get my seedlings/plantings (14 Adeniums and 3 Plumerias) moved from in front of the house to the inside windowsills of The Baffa as they won't be able to take heavy prolonged rain. The remainder are big enough and should be okay where they are.

Hope everyone has a good day.

                Good day
It is cloudy, cool and going to be that way for the rest of the day. The free water is welcome as everything is slowing down out there and needs a good quenching to suck up before the frost lands.

@Flumpy I could hear a slight zippery sound and knew what it was. Now, I believe all of the fluid has emptied onto the drive so tomorrow I'll call the garage to ask if it's okay to take it in. Then I'll have to top it up, and quick drive to the garage to get it repaired. A hefty price tag on that! Thank you for asking. And yes, a vehicle equipped with power steering that fails is even harder to steer than a vehicle without ever having it in the first place. I've got a concrete drive so it is going to take some effort to get the darned stuff off

Since it is not good for line drying, I'm going to skip doing laundry today and just play with my patterns and fabrics to figure out my next project. A relaxing pastime.

                Cheers :coffee:

Good morning Lori. :yikes: Summer isn't over yet. When do you first get frost?

Probably not until the beginning of October but I have a lot more winterizing to do than most here because our frost line is 36" below ground.

Even simple things like making sure plant supports are straight means a lot. Once the ground freezes you cannot adjust them and would have to spend the entire winter looking at crooked stakes. That would really bother me.

Bom Dia Rain on Petals.jpeg Just waiting for the rain to arrive ... it is trying hard!

We are under warnings for rain, wind and thunderstorms for a couple of days so not a lot will be going on outside. Maybe more sorting out is calling me!

                      Have a great day.

                        Morning Vicky.

I have started my Autumn spring clean.

I have too much going on in the greenhouse/ garden around Springtime to do it . Over the years I've come to prefer doing the big clean now as with all the traipsing back and forth from the garden and having all the doors and windows open during the Summer it's surprising what else works it's way indoors too. I find dead butterflies etc. in all sorts of places!
We can snuggle down for the Winter in a nice clean environment.:)

Morning all, me & Hubby are off today as it’s our 14th Anniversary so going out for a meal later and shopping  , it’s raining on and off here but still warm so umbrella is needed.

Wish there where somewhere we could lay flowers for the Queen

                              Good day
I see that everyone is doing well. Happy Anniversary @Flumpy !

I've got to get out the door. I talked with a very cheerful mechanic a few minutes ago and he says to bring my van in anytime to get the power steering fixed. Hopefully :fingers crossed: it is not the high pressure line that is gone because if I top it up before I leave, I will have assistance for steering at least part way through the drive there.

                              Cheers :coffee:
