Our rain lasted a couple of hours but that has been it here so far. More storms and rain forecast.

J has to take Munchkin to the Vet this morning as she is having difficulties peeing and is squatting everywhere attempting to. Hope it is nothing serious.

It cooled down a fair bit here too. It is 60f and the skies look to be clearing. I have to work this morning but plan to play this afternoon. One granddaughter is here for a few days. We're going to try to access the grade 9 core program lessons as her mother will not release her original birth certificate to her so that she can register/start at her new school. How selfish. The only one being hurt is the kid. I have a copy of the cert but the mother has somehow blocked things. Nasty piece of work!

My van is now all repaired and I get it back this morning along with a hefty repair bill.

Oh well, on with my day now.

It seems Munchkin has a UTI and has been put o a drip and given antibiotics. Her blood tests are not back so they are keeping her overnight .... she will not be a happy bunny! Van is looking everywhere for her. He has just come in with us as we were sitting outside and have given him his dinner ... he will not be a happy bunny not being allowed back out as h will sit on the bench till she comes home ..............

Our rain did not come back here, actually is quite sunny now, but J went through heavy rain getting Munch to the Vet, 20 minutes away.

We have moved our visitors till Saturday (their choice) when we should have all day sunshine.

 

I am so glad your pussy only has is a UTI @Victoria and not kidney problems. The antibiotics will fix her up quickly. Van is likely thinking you did something with Munchkin and will probably start giving you the stink eye

Violet went with me to do a porch pick up for 5 tomato cages. These will be really handy as I plan to make 2 shorter cages out of the one to help my various perennials keep up appearances until they are a couple of years old. And now she is making book marks - here's one

 

Thank you Lori. Van has momentarily stopped screaming at us ... being cross Siamese he has The Voice!

I remember making bookmarks like that. I also used to cover books in brown paper bags or various papers.

 

That's good news about Munchkin Vicky...well painful I know, and I can currently vouch for that ,but as Lori said it's good that it's not her Kidneys. Poor Van is wondering where his companion has disappeared to?

 

Too true ... and it is a shame they don't understand ... they have been together eight years apart from his couple of days in hospital. He has just come out of the bedroom being uncertain about things ... awkward to explain! But he has just got up onto J's lap.

We have a very dark, gloomy and wet day ahead of us ,although at the moment it's dry.

I hope you all have better weather in store for your day.

It is slightly overcast at the moment and we are threatened with rain and storms ... I think our couple of hours Monday evening was our lot but wouldn't mind more.

It was weird waking up without Munch tromping all over us but Van was snuggled up to me. He has gone out now. We impatiently wait to hear from the Vet so she can come home.

Thank you Flumpy ... that gave us a chuckle.

Other than that, a calm day ahead doing things at a leisurely pace.

That's a very stupid woman isn't it @CanadianLori , couldn't your grand daughter get a copy of her birth certificate ? There must be a way of getting a copy, say if the original was lost or destroyed ...

It was foggy here first thing but the sun is shining beautifully now. The builders have finished my extension, and carpet is coming tomorrow. They are starting to build my greenhouse today ... can't wait to put my cacti in it

Munch is home. The vet called this morning and said she could come home as she was very stressed and wouldn't eat. She has three medications for twenty days ... nightmare for J!!! Since she has been home, 30 minutes, she has been into the box 6-7 times but not sure she is doing anything, just sits there I can see the one box in the foyer near the front doors from where I sit. Van was on the bed and heard her screaming as j was taking her out of the car and he rushed into the lounge to greet her and keeps going up to her.

We just had a 10 minute downpour, hurray!
