Well so much for our original forecast ,only had a few drops of rain around 9am but apart from that it's been gorgeous here.

Sunny but it's misleading, it's cool with the gentle breeze.

 

Its reached 21c since the sun came out.
Apparently tomorrow could be the first day since early June that the daytime temperature will not rise above 20c.
Quite remarkable for the UK.

 

It was foggy first thing but then the sun came out and we had a beautiful autumn day

 

We have had some lovely weather since the weekend, in fact Monday was the warmest day in a couple of weeks! We managed to get into the mid 20C!

Tuesday was a little cooler with sunshine & clouds but we still got to 21C! The wind was quite cool but out of it the sun was very warm.

Today we started with a little cloud which soon cleared away & we had a very sunny day with little in the way of clouds, yet the wind was quite cool & I was glad to have put on a light jumper this morning! I had to take our granddaughter to school this morning & at 8.30 I almost wished I'd put on my light jacket! But as it's only 10 mins walk there & back I survived!

When I went back to pick her up & bring her back home the temps had risen quite a bit & the wind had largely died down so 20C felt very warm, especially in the sunshine! So we stayed out on the grass outside the balcony until her parents came to pick her up.

No rain in the last few days nor any expected in the coming few days either! Yet the little we had last week has made a tremendous difference to the grass which is growing again as if it were spring instead of just a few days to the autumn begins!

 

I think that's referring to England Pete. Up here we've not had many days above 20C/68F. There's been a lot of cloud cover throughout this summer.

Breezy and mostly cloudy but the sun has managed to elbow its way through the cloud now and again. 15C/59F
