Hi Philip , hope you don't mind me butting into your thread but I cannot get into my PM at moment. I need to get rid of a lot of this year's seed .

And..........
I know you said you had enough seeds etc, but will have loads of cosmos plus a whole lot more of certain flower seed.s

Free to a good home and free to all members ...... any takers ???

 

Thanks Upsydaisy,..most days are just uncomfortable and i can manage those,..the very bad days don't come too often now but when they do it means approx 16 hours of constant pain and moving as little as possible,..then asking myself where has the hernia gone to?,..hopefully not causing a twisted gut,..at present its wandering and since 0800 this morning

 

Hi Purple Streaks,..delighted to see you popping in,..i do hope you have a good few takers for the seeds,..i am so full of plants that to place just one flowerpot in a space is almost impossible,..just look at some of the self seeded Foxgloves i have to try fit in for next season,..there are three times this amount,..it means getting rid of something else sadly for space.

The river is rising very fast,..we may have a record high this year.




The farmer who owns the cattle below for years always has 18 cattle in the field,..out of habit i always count them,..this year there are only 11 cattle and 10 of them are a French Breed,..'Charolais',..could be they are more expensive and so only 10,..strange how he kept one black beast?.

I love to see cattle grazing in a meadow, I find them so relaxing. I like to see Friesians and Ayrshires, the markings can be very pretty sometimes.

Very atmospheric, and eerie too It looks as if the sun is breaking through in the last photo though.
Foxy Molly doesn't look disturbed by the mist at all
