    :gmorning:

    How's everyone today. ?

For some reason all my joints are grumbling and I can't sleep so I've decided to get up to make some hot chocolate and take some painkillers.

Well they say plans are made to get broken and mine certainly were yesterday.

We had a palarva trying to find enough MPC to restock our supplies with. We ended up going to several places and coming home with a right old assortment...most of which I've never used before. So it will be a case of lots of :fingers crossed: going on !

Then we finally tackled the dreaded grocery shop which entailed going to 3 different supermarkets , a 4th we will do on Thursday as it's on the way to where we have to go for our Covid boosters. So that's a joy to look forward too....I don't think.

After a quick ,belated, meal I then went to see my sister. This was very enjoyable but not my original plan ,I finally got home at 5:30 pm !!

So...today I'm staying put! Oh I also bought some new Tulip bulbs....just to cheer me up from enduring such hassle!!;) :heehee: :blue thumb:.

Hope you all had productive day yesterday and have a good one planned for today...enjoy !

Well I haven't had a single wink of sleep, despite the painkillers easing my joints I just remained wide awake. [IMG]

Why ..I don't know as nothing was playing on my mind. :noidea:

It'll probably hit me by midday but if I stick to my plans then the fresh air may keep me going. Hubs said that after my breakfast I should snuggle down and that I would probably drop off but I think that will just make it harder to sleep tonight, so I think I will attempt to carry on as normal.:fingers crossed:

The weather looks good today so that will help.

      Enjoy your day. [IMG]

Upsy, you were probably kept awake by our night long storms as we were. It is overcast now with the sun trying to break through but more storms possibly later.

I think J is going to pick up a new TV he ordered Monday that came in yesterday.

I am still trying to wake up.

Morning Vicky...I wish that was the reason at least it would be a plausible answer. But we are enjoying a spell of lovely weather at the moment .

            Good day
@Victoria a new tv! I am slowly replacing some of mine too. These newer smart TV's are a hoot. I can watch just about anything on them. I will probably be streaming Acorn TV now that I have one in the office/cutting room and another in the kitchen :)

@Upsydaisy I'm sorry to hear you're in pain. I used some of my CBD fudge on Monday to relieve some aches that I really believe had to do with the weather swinging from chilly to nice and so on.

I've got some sour dough starter going on it's third day. I have never made a really nice sour dough bread so being a glutton for punishment, I shall try again

I'm looking forward to some pleasant TV viewing/listening as one of the stations is playing some favourite old movies including one with Margaret Rutherford playing Miss Marple :)

            Cheers :coffee:

              Good morning everyone.

Thankfully I had a good night's worth of sleep so I'm feeling more human like this morning rather than being in zombie mode.

Double fun day today , Covid boosters and another supermarket visit!!!!

              The exciting life I lead!!!:roflol:

I hope you all have a nice day.

A lovely fresh start to the day.

It is my 'get some answers' day today. Well night as my appointment is at 8.10pm ... that doesn't mean a 10 minute appointment here, you usually get 20-30 minutes depending. J will speak to him about his issues. The Clinic is open 8am-10pm Monday-Friday and 9am-10pm Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays ... otherwise it is the ER. So, I will be relaxing and mentally gearing myself up.

Munchkin seems brighter and perkier on her medicine, another two days on antibiotics and 12 on one of the others, one having finished two days ago.

Hope everyone has a good day.

                  Morning Vicky

Yes I had remembered that you had an app. today, but didn't realise it was quite so late! I was going to email you later this afternoon to find out how it went, but I'll leave it until a bit later.:dbgrtmb:

Glad to hear that Munchkin seems to be well on the road to recovery.

Have you heard from your other friends yet.?

Go and get mentally in gear and we'll catch up later.

                    Morning Upsy

The Clinic phoned yesterday and confirmed the appointment then sent a 'Code'. When you go into the Clinics/Hospitals you get a ticket at the entrance to give to Reception to check you in and should be 30 minutes in advance. When you have a Code you put it in and it checks you in and you can go direct to the area you need to be in.

Yes, have been in touch with Ian & Kay and we will meet for lunch next Tuesday at a place near where one of our apartments was where we know the owner and has easy access.

Glad you are feeling better ... enjoy your good weather. xx

Good morning , how's everyone today?

I've woken with a very achy left arm from having both the Covid and Flu jabs yesterday.. I was warned it might grumble from having both at the same time in the same arm, but it was what they advised. I've never suffered from any aftereffects from either before but then again this is the first time I've had 2 together. Oh well never mind, rather have to put up with this for a day than catching the viruses.:blue thumb:

A 'go with the flow' day today as we are in for a day of sunshine and showers. As the soil is still very dry any rain will be greatly appreciated.

                      Have an enjoyable day .

It is bright and sunny with a fresh breeze at 19c going to 27c later.

It was very quiet at the Clinic and Dr Beuno saw me straight away and I was 8 minutes early. He did not like my MRI results as it shows I have had several mini strokes over the years. He went over all symptoms, none of which I have/have had. He made me walk up and down the office twice (I was holding J's hand). He straightened my legs and bend/straighten my toes several times. He said there is nothing wrong with my spine/joints and that my balance issue is strictly a brain coordination problem. I have been put on Atorvastatina daily and continue to exercise regularly. I have to go for a Vascular Sonar on my neck next month. I had to have one on my leg before my knee replacement. These results are what I expected so I will plod on.

J is meeting John for the normal Friday lunch and will pick up my prescription which I have to take after the evening meal.

Hmmm that was exactly what you thought wasn't it.

So apart from the new med and the sonar check next month is it just a case of carry on what you've been doing then. No new exercises to target any ..brain area or anything?
Oh well at least you know your spine/ joints are behaving, just need to wait for the V. Sonar and maybe get a clearer pic of whats what.
                          Ho hum m'dear friend as you say..plod on:noidea: .

I had to have a Doppler on my leg and hubs also had to have one on his neck last year too.....at least we keep the medics busy!!;)

Good morning everyone ,the 1st weekend of Autumn has arrived. Scary how time passes by so quickly.

So many jobs are accumulating on my 'to do soon ' list now.

I have a whole lot of plants still to plant out and some that need dividing. A few seeds to sow, and Tulips that need planting out in pots.

Then the job eventually of digging up and potting up the Pelargoniums and Fuchsias, so glad to have at least stocked up with lots of MPC.

Hubs has the job of Winterising the Greenhouse with bubble wrap at some point in the near future too.

Lots to keep us going and out of trouble for the next month.

Have a lovely day and a relaxing weekend.

                                What is MPC @Upsydaisy ? I'm sorry I don't speak 21st century.

Have a lovely day @Upsydaisy
