Yes I really hope all is well with Lori and that it's just a case of her being too busy to drop by.

First job here is to sweep the East Patio as the acorns are dropping and they are definitely a trip hazard for all who enter our garden. Last year for some strange reason the Oaks didn't bear any...first time ever, but they certainly weren't missed ...such a chore at this time of year.....then of course it's all the leaves coming down.

Oh dear, oh dear, I have been swamped and forgot to say Good day! I'm sorry to have caused some concern. Please accept my apologies for being MIA! It is nice to see everyone is well

Our weather has flipped to Autumn and the change happened pretty much in one 24 hour period so I have been scurrying around trying to get the hand chilling work done. I've taken the patio chairs and their covers down to the cellar, dismantled and stored the glass table, burned off any wood debris around. Then had a load of pots that needed a scrub before stowing. Plants in pots are dying in a giant hurry and I'm still trying to keep up with an orderly shut down.

I am taking another class today in three D printing so I have to cut out time to attend as I am working on making an attachment for my coverstitch. And I've got massive drapery panels on the go, clients wanting sets of cushions and etc etc.

I've got new sour dough starter bubbling and working on my first trysie at baking sourdough bread. And it is apple season. Lots of apples are prime for baking pies and tarts.

I will try to improve my attendance.

Don’t worry Lori, I’ve not been on a few days but think everyone is used to that.

Upsydaisy how’s your arm after both injections? Two of my work colleagues suffered the same last year as they thought it was a good idea to have them together, I’ve just had my flu jab then my Covid one next month.

Victoria, my mum is also on Atorvastatin & Ramipril as when she was in her 60’s she had a mini stroke due to blood pressure, she’s doing well now and lost a little weight too.
I’ve been helping my mum choose shoes & fascinaters for my brothers wedding in November exciting!

Me the same, I don't comment every day so it doesn't seem strange when I'm missing, but @CanadianLori you usually comment so it was worrying when you didn't, but don't stress over it, I'm glad you're all right. I hope the hurricane isn't affecting you. I saw a map of it and it seems to be on the east coast but winds can carry a long way.

Hope your arm is better @Upsydaisy. I'm only having the flu injection.

 

Thanks yes my arm is absolutely fine it ached first thing yesterday but once it got moving it was OK...in fact I had forgotten that I had the double jabs to be honest.

It wasn't my idea ,it's what is advised...and it was the right thing really, better to have one painful arm rather than two it you're prone to aftereffects....not that I am normally.
