So, I ordered a TEFAL AF and with 25% discount, it cost me £ 149.25 .
It arrived yesterday and it is in place.
No user manual with it. They suggest you go on line and download the manual . Cannot find one for this Tefal machine. Other sites say they will give you access to their one for £9.99.
Just this was in the box :

Need a Crypton factor brain to work it out - which I do not have unfortunately....

I have a Zanussi Microwave and Fan oven. Both came with manuals and the manuals are useless. Cannot figure out how to work the grill and apart from the basic microwave functions the rest is a mystery.

Thank you so much Victoria. Gave me the confidence to AF a small 8 " x 9 " paper plate of M & S triple cooked frozen chips. About 10 chips was enough....12 mins at 180c , shake, then 4 mins at 200c .
A wee sprinkle of onion salt, a little pot of Hellmans , sat on the patio bench and enjoying the tender crispness of them.
10 chips was enough...not a "bagfull" from the Chippy which is always too many and overwhelming. I hate throwing away food....
            thank you for inspiring me,

Just me, but I would do them a minute or two less, lighter pastry? Yummy though.

Jenny, you soon get used to your own timing, usually slightly less in our case. Have fun!

Morning Jenny. Meant to say yesterday besides often doing less timing we don't use 220c as we find things cook to our liking at 180c. These are things you learn as you progress. Prepared anything new?
