Is the cobea proving hardy with you @CarolineL ?
I still have it but can't find a decent spot to plant it out.

Hi @pete I've had no trouble past 2 years, but they were mild. I'll take cuttings for safety. We had just one frost in March, and all the growths afterwards came up 'curly' and didn't climb, which contributed to the lateness. Although that might have been something to do with weedkiller or something? Just guessing

I suspect mine are Honey fungus @Victoria, as they're growing around a tree stump. They are not deadly poisonous but will make you ill if consumed.

That is stunning Pete. Wish I had a Strawberry Tree. think it is silly getting one now. I shall have to look Paraserianthes lophantha up, a new name to me.

Aeoniums always come into their own at this time of the year.

@Victoria, Paraserianthes, like Accia longifolia is an invasive pest in the Med, it grows rapidly and self seeds readily. I would steer clear.

Yes, I see it is of the Wattle family (Albizia lophantha). Was just curious as I didn't know the name.
