They said they are going to ask their members. Those would be the same members that selected Liz Truss.

The proper outcome would be to call a general election, but really that equates to a mass resignation of the Tory party so won't happen.

Penny Mordant, who the hell is she, I think we have been here before 3 months ago, pick someone nobody has ever heard of, oh yes remember now, she was the one that declared Liz Truss was not hiding under her desk.

I am not picking anyone. I am stating the likely candidates. Personally, I think Sir Keir Starmer should be the next PM, and I am not a Labour supporter.

 

As bad as this Tory mess has become I dont think I could vote labour or Lib Dem.

I think I would have to do what MPs do when they want to avoid the question.

A newspaper over here described Truss's 44 days in office as "catawampus". A new word for my vocabulary and also a fairly accurate descriptive.
