WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

Just can't understand our forecast at all!! Our heavy rain never arrived and the warning was removed at 3pm. We enjoyed a sunny and DRY day.

It's still dry out there but our overnight forecast predicts light rain and a moderate breeze ...but....at 8pm until 6am tomorrow we will have a weather warning placed on us for thunderstorms and heavy rain.....can't see them on the forecast..

What is the point of these forecasts
Now Saturday, yes it looks like we could be in for some heavy rain.......but hey may be not!

 

I think you will find you have been very lucky and the rain went through much more quickly in your area, further east it has just lingered.
Believe me you didn't want the deluge we have had.

 

This morning it started out bright & sunny but when we when to bed it was raining quite hard & rather windy. Halfway through the morning we had some clouds but no rain & the wind seems to have calmed down quite a bit compared with yesterday! About 3pm the skies cleared once again & the sun came out in all its glory! The only problem is that it is directly opposite our flat as it goes down during the pm. This means our kitchen gets the full glare of the sun for about 4 hours, this time of year. When we go into the kitchen it's like walking into the sun itself! You have to cover your eyes & then close the blinds - before it blinds you!

The rain for 11am didn't turn up though the clouds were quite thick. The temps today have been lower than of late with only 12C being our max. We are forecast only 7C for tonight & only a max of 12C tomorrow with a NW wind. But we can expect a very sunny day all day!

 

Oh Pete we certainly had our share over the recent days .Our garden is water logged in places still.

 

Lovely day today following about 50mm rain yesterday through the night. Tomorrow is looking good which is nice as i am driving down to Wales. Although we might have our first frost tonight, so I have brought in a couple of plants. Outlook is of course more rain

 

I think we could have our first frost of the winter tonight unless the rain returns.

 

It will be unusual if we reach November the 5th without a ground frost at least.
Tomorrow night looks possible.

 

Bit nippy here too over the weekend, according to the forecast...5°C min.

 

Rain driven on a gale which blew for a few hours overnight. Today was wall to wall sunshine, calm and chilly, 10C/50F. What a waste - I was shopping!

Right now the sky is still clear and the temperature plummeting, currently 3C/37F. I expect a minus figure overnight, bringing our second frost of the season.

Lovely sunny start to our day. The weather warning was lifted at 6am and as I expected it wasn't needed, we didn't have the thunder or the heavy rains.
