Hi Michael,..my blue Asters were thrashed overnight,..strong winds and very heavy showers,..while the Heath Asters are not bothered at all.

The Phygelius are very attractive and come in Lemon and Orange,..mine have reached over 2 Metres plus tall but cutting them back to within reach of a camera shot is no problem,..very hardy,..only one problem,..roots do spread though easy to control them.

Thanks for the information, I shall have to think hard about where to plant my Phygelius.

@glengarry23 Your flowers are beautiful! I love your roses! I had a Cape Fuchsia a few years ago on the balcony as well. Don't remember now what happened to it.

@glengarry23 It so easily happens! In my case it's a case of them dying off when I can't see them or perhaps not surviving a winter. Occasionally they die from overwatering, but not often.

Did you make the video with a PowerPoint Presentation or similar?

Thanks Balc for viewing the video,
I use the Free Microsoft Photo Story 3,..easy enough when one gets used to it.
You just place the images in a file,..then it informs one to upload them,..you don't lose your images on your file,..then its just a matter of sorting out where you want to place each image placed and how long you want them to be displayed,..5 seconds per image is what i use,..so to find music for the duration of the video is hardest to get,..now with free non copyright music available from Youtube it does make it easier.

To find the duration of a video from images you use is just a matter of counting 5 secs per image then multiply by 5 gives you the amount of seconds in total,..just divide that total by 60 gives you the total amount of mins,..for me at coming up to 78 years it seems easy lol.

@glengarry23 Thanks for that info! I uploaded some videos of our balcony a week or so ago to my YouTube channel. It's the first time I've ever done it although I've had the channel for a couple of years.

My videos only have background noise & are not a series of shots like yours. But with the info you've provided perhaps this "ol'timer' can do something like you've done!;)

Lol Balc,..at another old timer,..delighted you joined that club.

Like anything you download it seems complicated,..but honestly Microsoft Photo Story 3 is a charm to work on,..once you place the images you want to use in a file,..when the program asks you to upload images the window shows you your files,..then click and scroll all those images and they right away are there for you to move them about as you like,..you can add the music from your music files or use the program music,..the latter is not great,..so you can make as many changes as you like,..if you make a mistake and don't like the preview,..its no problem the program does not close down until you are satisfied,..then save the file for uploading to where ever you want,..the advantage is you can also save the project and open it to make changes,..go for it and best of luck,..any tips you want just give me a shout.

I did a search for the programme you mentioned & I was most surprised to discover I already have it - as a part of OneDrive! I never knew! Now I will have to do some exploring & see what I can do! Thanks for the offer of help & tips as well, much appreciated! :)
