 :heehee:,..its a sudden shock Victoria,..one almost falls apart.

When working in London i bought a nice pair of rubber soled shoes,..broke them in and decided to get another similar pair,..size eight,..same design,..no need to try them on,..same shop,..when i took them home i discovered the soles were leather,..no problem i thought i can alternate them,..then came the day i was in a hurry to get to work,..noticed i seemed to have a small stone or drawing pin in the sole of one shoe but waited until i arrived in work,..all i could hear while walking was click,..click,..click on the one show,..in work i discovered i had one leather soled shoe and one rubber soled shoe :wallbanging:

A nice day for a walk

I had a cat exactly like that many years ago, called Garfield  He was the friendliest cat you'd ever meet. Someone threw him out of a passing car and he came to live with us :cat-kittyandsmiley:

That building looks creepy ! There's something eerie about abandoned buildings ...

Lovely photos. A rainbow! When we were in Bonchurch IoW we used to see Cormorants on the posts.

@Michael Hewett ,..Nice name for a cat Michael,..pleasing to see you took him under your wing.

There is a feeling one gets in old abandoned buildings,..some of us sense the past history,..i have the feeling you also would do so.

Thanks Vicky,..i will be posting some older images to make up for the change in weather which is reducing my walks to very short ones :)

We have a vast amount of Cormorants here,..one area named Carnagh,..on the lake you could see 50 0r more,..another island the Blue Herons breed,..huge nests atop trees.

                    ....but nevertheless still beautiful Philip.:)

Nice to see full shelves, great selection of produce. A lot of our shops seem to be experiencing stock shortages, especially in the fresh fruit and veg depts.

Hi Upsydaisy,..yes i have had friends inform me so about certain stock not being as plentiful,..we get a lot of produce from Spain/Portugal/Brazil/,..good stuff i may add,..then there are the ones we have to think about before purchasing,..India/Vietnam/America/,..they have proved to be suspect in particular where Prawns/Meat and Fish are concerned,..meat classed as Beef proved to be Horse meat but sold as Beef,..Prawns and Fish were grown in ponds full of chemicals,..in particular White Fish named as Gaz,..that was a horror when checked on line :yikes:

Anyway, I don't eat meat or fish any more, it turns on me to even look at it sick.png
This condition has been coming on gradually for several years. First of all I went off red meat about 6 or 7 years ago, then chicken and turkey, and now, for the last year or two I can't eat fish ...

I see Basa on sale here all the time, I've never tried it after hearing all the scare stories a few years ago now.
I doubt most of them are true but it does put you off.

We had the horse meat scandal as well some years ago, not sure where we were getting it from, I thought it was coming in from France but could be wrong.

                                Lovely pics Philip.
Glad you're back home again, just pace yourself and don't take on to much.
Sorry to hear your move didn't go ahead but it sounds as if it was definitely for the best. People are so very sneaky in sprucing up their property to cover a multitude of problems rather than being honest in declaring them and accepting a lower offer to allow for work to be done to fix things.
A place will come your way that will be perfect for you and Foxy Molly , with Spring almost here people start looking for new homes so I'm sure you won't have long to wait.
                                Look after yourself :grphg:xx
