    Thank you @shiney I quite agree :cat-kittyandsmiley:

Don't worry @Victoria, it's easy to miss things on this forum, there's so much going on. I often miss things myself but catch up later.
    Thanks for your comment

I'm pleased to say the greenhouse windows are now in, but I can't find my camera to take photos.
I have to sort the plants out now, but I feel too tired today (I felt the same yesterday too) but I hope to do a bit later on.

I'm going to paint the walls but they are damp from the wet air - no rain could get in even without the windows, but the air was damp ... so I have to wait for them to dry out.

I'm going to have a light in there too, and an electrical socket so that I can use my garden vac for the floor, and maybe in the spring I'll put one of my propagators in there. It will be easier to keep an eye on it than traipsing down the garden in the cold wet weather, to where they are now.

I must look for my camera to take some photos to show you ...

Sounds like a really good set up Michael, out of interest are the windows double glazed, only I assume you have been waiting for them to be made.

Think you will find, as we do, with a little electric heater and good thermosat you can easily keep things frost free for little cost.
With the twinwall glazing we find it really keeps the heat in, can often stay in ours midwinter with a nice cuppa ! :)

Could you use your phone to take pics if your cannot find your camera, they are surprisning good even on cheaper smart phones, its made our old camera virtually redundant.

              Yes they are double glazed.
The greenhouse is right next to a new kitchen extension, which has rosewood double glazed windows and French door, so I thought I'd have the greenhouse windows to match. I thought it would look daft if I had different ones.

I told the builder that single glazed would be all right for the greenhouse, but after he'd priced them with various companies he said double glazed were actually cheaper. It doesn't make sense to me, but they are.

The roof is twinwall polycarbonate. When the chaps were fitting the windows they were actually perspiring inside there !

I haven't got a mobile phone, and if I did I probably wouldn't be able to find it like the camera :heehee:
I used to have one about 20 years ago but it went on fire while I was talking to someone, and I haven't bothered to get another one.
I am now thinking of getting another one for the simple reason it may come in handy if the car broke down when I was out and about ... and I'd be able to take photos with it as well. They tell me you can get good ones for taking photos now.

As you get older think a smart phone is more a life saver as so many things are geared to them, be it appointments, banking, travel , emergencies etc.

You can get decent smart phones with quiet good cameras in the £100 - £200 range though you would be better in starting a new thread in the Computer section as so many options /prices/opinions.

First some photos of the outside, but it is surrounded by a mess created when my kitchen extension was being built during the summer, so you'll have to ignore that. It will be tidied soon ...
The walls will be rendered in the spring

                      The front :-

                      127_2362.JPG

                      ... and who's that ?? :heehee:

                      127_2363.JPG

                      127_2364.JPG

                      The side :-

                      127_2385.JPG

As you can see the side faces into a dilapidated shelter where I used to do potting but it is due for demolition, and then the sun will be able to shine into the greenhouse.

Inside, (where the walls need painting, but that will be in the spring) :-

It must be very pleasant looking out into the greenhouse when you're in the kitchen making a cuppa. A nice way to start your morning. :dbgrtmb:
