I read some reviews on the programme Microsoft Photo Story 3 that weren't very favourable but I haven't had the time yet to do the exploring I said I would do.

I have downloaded many almost similar software in the past 15 years and none matched the simplicity of using the Photo Story 3,.. plus being a free software,..many of the younger generation want falling snow and hearts in the making of a photo story,..i prefer the zoom in and out or sliding the image to right or left and slow fade,..all my photo stories on YouTube for the past 15 years are of Photo Story 3,..viewers seem to like them as i have 969 subscribers,..hope to reach the 1.000 next year :)

This has been the only Clematis I've ever grown! A lady on another forum I used to be a member of sent me lots of seeds from her Clematis. She sent me the seeds of several different ones but this yellow one was the only one to germinate. I had only this one on the balcony but others I planted out on the allotment I was sharing with a friend from church at the time. I didn't have my own at that time. I don't know what happened to it after I took the photos I don't think I had it for more than 2 years growing on the balcony.:dunno:

It sounds like Clematis wilt. It is terrible to get rid of. One of mine always used to have it every year but hasn't for a long time now. The big flowered ones are more susceptible to it I think.
When you plant a Clematis they say it's good to bury them quite deep in the ground, and that is supposed to prevent them having the disease.
It won't spread to other plants, it is only Clematis that get it.

I used to have it growing along the wall of the house though in a 30 cm container,..i moved it to the middle of the garden in the same container,..there was no other place to plant it,..both locations proved to get the wilt,..i had made a means for it to grow over 2 meters high and it thrived for a spell,..then the wilt appeared again,..being in the middle of the garden it spoiled the view,..so it had to go,..there may be still some roots left and by the time it starts to grow i may solve the problem of where to sow it deeper,..something else may have to move to facilitate it.
