    Morning Lori
It is possibly Luninarc. Yes, I think they are essentially the same. Very fine but 'almost' unbreakable. I have fluted edges and the other set has very tiny blue and yellow flowers on the rims.

Yes, @Victoria Corelle are the same however the level of corelle I have is "kitchen" stock. No fluting and only has a black stripe around the rim. When they break though, boy oh boy, thousands of little shard happen! I had 16 place settings and then was given another 8 so when I have the girls over, there's lots for our buffet style eating. My "good" set wouldn't impress anybody because it is plain white but it is Doulton. I've got 16 place settings of that.

I get upset when something gets broken or goes missing. I have a really nice set of cutlery that somehow, someone must have been helpful and not only scraped their plate to get rid of leftover but probably also threw a pie fork into the waste. And I can't get a replacement! :mute:

Ha, yes, lots of shards across the lounge when it slipped off my lap onto the ceramic tile floor. We usually eat in the lounge and I have a bean bag lap thingy but was not using it! I had a 16-piece set but left half in the caravan when we sold it (or the townhouse, one of the two). Actually, there may be another set in the left that was my sisters, hmmmmm!

I too am fussy about things. We now use our wedding present cutlery on a daily basis and a knife went missing, probably the same way as your pie fork. However, I got a replacement from Replacements in America plus some added pieces. Expensive but worth it to me.

:ideaIPB::ideaIPB::ideaIPB: @Victoria . Thank you for reminding me that replacements can be had! I have just now placed the order. It is expensive for one fork (23. USD) but the value to me is immeasurable. :spinning:

Thanks again. I do have to drive over the border to get it but that's okay with me. I'll do that some time in December.

            At your service Ma'am. :love30:

Meant to say, I had mine sent to my Sister's address in Florida and she took them back to Germany and sent to me from there!

              Good morning.

Today we're in Robin Hood Bay in North Yorkshire. Stunning, how I'd love to be sitting on one of those benches and looking out to sea!!

We have a weather warning in place today for heavy rain showers and a moderate breeze ( why do we need a warning for that :dunno:), so we'll just have to see how our day unfolds and see if they've got our forecast right...or hopefully not.:fingers crossed:

              Keep warm and dry.

Morning. It is grey out but 14c. Should brighten up soon.

J went to make a Dentist appointment yesterday and she said she would see him in two patients. So he came home with the shopping and went back. She is new, the other left but same Receptionist/Assistant we have known for years. Dentist filed his bridge at the edge and his pain went away! It never was right and he never went back. He goes back Monday for clean and to see about putting false tooth in upper front where he has missing tooth, than goodness!

Nothing planned today that I know of.

Im too looking forward to seeing my mums new tooth, her stitches in her lip have nearly all gone now and her arm is out of the sling  onwards and upwards now!

Victoria I bet your J wishes he went back sooner, has he been suffering for long ?

                        Good morning everyone,
We could all sit on that bench together

                        Hope you're feeling better today @Upsydaisy ...

I hope your dad's computer will be ok @Flumpy, he's lucky to have you being able to help.

I'm glad J is out of pain now @Victoria, the new tooth will also be good, I have a few gaps and it is awkward eating sometimes. I'm going to ask if I can have a few false teeth next year. (I don't want to be travelling back and forth to the dentist in the winter)

                        Hi @CanadianLori

I'm going out in a while, for a change.
Sorry I don't get around to looking in every day, the time just passes by.

                              Good day
It is still dark but I can see fog under the street lamps. 30f -1 which is very mild for this time of year. We sure are getting spoiled!

I've got my breadmakers set up and ready to start beating their contents. I had to start them early because I need to run them twice. Luckily I only use them to administer the beatings so the cycle is only 1 1/2 hours.

Once of the shops near me has eggs on offer so once those doughs have finished beating and I've got them formed into buns and loaves, I'll head over to grab some of those. And that will leave me plenty of time after to cook the egg noodles and assemble the casserole for lunch.

Sounds like all the smiles are being fixed up and everyone is doing well except perhaps @Upsydaisy? I sure hope you are on the mend!

                              Cheers :coffee:

I know that you keep an eye on your plants but when I saw this, I giggled and thought of your already full greenhouse. Hopefully this makes for a smile @Michael Hewett
