Supposedly in for a good day today., so another laundry load is all done and waiting to go out.

I may have to attempt going shopping today, initially hubs was going to do it alone but there are a few bits that I'm in need of, so will probably tag along, albeit at a slower pace. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I haven't left the house for almost a fortnight now.... I can't believe it!!

Love Burford, went there several times. Took a picnic once, got all settled by the river ... and the heavens suddenly opened up!

It is 40f 4c and even though it is dark, I can tell it is cloudy as the skies were spitting on me as I dragged the recycle and rubbish to the kerb.

My client is coming at 9 to pick up her panels and I will zip out to the shops in between that and my company coming at 11. I'll avoid the shops on the weekend and not be adding to the crowds when young people need to shop.

The girls and I had a good time yesterday and I sent them all home with a variety of buns and a baguette each.

I'm glad to hear you're well enough to set foot out the door @Upsydaisy and @Victoria keep the cat pictures coming. I love them! @Michael Hewett water those pricklies! @Flumpy I hope you're relaxing with your feet up. Does your vacay end this weekend?

Hi all, sorry I’m a little late, just been getting my mum makeup ready for the wedding and nipped to B and Q for my tree covers.

Lori, I go back to work Monday, unfortunately no good jobs out there at the moment but I’ll keep looking while I’m working , my brother is getting a bit nervous now, he’s not looking forward to the speech .

No we don't go shopping at weekend either Lori, never have even when we were both working fulltime.

This morning I went against my better judgement and it was as awful ( worse than even I had expected). Shelves half empty, only 2 tills open and the queue at each till worked it's way back into the main shopping area so expert skills in trolley manoeuvring were required by all.

My back is incredibly painful too due to this current uti and yep you've guessed it nature was calling and that is one thing I avoid at all cost ..public toilets!!. The only one I will use is in my favourite cafe, but unfortunately we were nowhere near it today...so I was not a happy bunny..at all. Hubs then lost his wallet, so I was left outside the train station with all the shopping while he made a panicky dash back to the building society and phew!!..yep it was there!!

We finally got back at 12:30 and the only good thing about today is that nobody had a bonfire while we were out, otherwise I would've had to do all our laundry again. I don't normally go out when I put laundry out to dry but at the moment dry days are a bit of a rarity so I had to chance it.

Checked my phone and found my older sister has tried to video call me 5 times while we were out!!! I like to think it's to say hi but I feel it more likely a doom and gloom call, so I'm preparing myself to call her back .

On the plus side I'm going to have a nice warm shower first and make a pot of herbal tea.....then I will phone.

Oh my Upsy, what an awful morning for you. I avoid public toilets also and it is even worse maneuvering with a walker! This is one reason why I won't go out to lunch.

Saying that, J's lunch was cancelled with John as he is not well with his MS playing up. He went anyway and got himself an English sausage bap/roll for his lunch (and had a couple of beers while he was waiting) and a fresh-made steak pie for dinner. He is having his afternoon snooze now.

It is a lovely day here and I sat out late morning getting a bit of D3.

 

Wherwell in Hampshire, about 20 miles from us. Very pretty place.

Not sure about how todays weather will pan out as we are going to have another weather warning slapped on us by mid afternoon. So

I hope the weather will behave for your brother and his bride and of course for all their family and friends today @Flumpy .

Feeling a little nervous today, this the worry of trying to make sure my mum is going to be ok for the wedding as just come to a head, she gets confused if she has to remember lots so I’ve tried to get her organised so she doesn’t have to worry
