It is warm 40f 4c for this time of year. And the brilliant sun will charge up tye batteries in a flash

@Flumpy I am sure your day is going well. Being a smart cookie, I'm positve you will have all possible scenarios anticipated and are ready for them. My biggest worry when attending weddings of people I care about is not to forget tissues!

Granddaughters stayed overnight last night. I took them to get presto cards yestrday. Presto is our version of your Oyster card. I loaded trips on them and after making sure they have their phones charged and on them, I'll probably drop them at a nearby shopping center and let them figure transit back home.

@Michael Hewett my oldest son can grow anything and really likes unusual plants. I'll show him your collection.

@Upsydaisy sounds like you're getting better. Good news

I've already done 1/2 the laundry and will finish the rest by noon. Then who knows what I'll get up to.

I met my friend for coffee in our local town, then her friend turned up, then her friend turned up, then their friend turned up ... so I had coffee with four ladies !
Then they all decided to order lunch, so I did too.

Today it's Gold Hill ,Shaftesbury in Dorset.

I have only walked the hill during the Spring and Summer months, would definitely not fancy my chances on the cobbles during a damp Autumn or an icy Winter!! Now sledging during a snowy spell might be fun.

No matter, whichever season it is there is always a stunning view to be had.

Another damp squid of a day here. Hard to imagine that a few months ago we were in desperate need of rain.

Michael so lovely to hear that you had an enjoyable lunch with...4 ladies.!! You smooth operator!.

Sunrise it was like a shooting range off in the distance which sets the dogs of.

Our dear friend John has tested positive for Covid. He lives alone with his two dogs and a cat and lives on a large farm. Ivo (our builder and a friend of John) lives a few minutes from him so can help with any daily needs, J will do a business arrangement John has on Tuesday.

Granddaughters stayed over again last night. They got back from the mall just fine and then went out walking around for a bit. I won't have to worry about these two getting porky with the way they do so much walking.

I've got my Hilda Ogden/Corrie morning happening today and I may even start assembling a jacket I had cut out. I want to add a lot of detail to make it quietly distinctive so it should be a fun project.

Thanks Lori and Upsy. Fortunately J cancelled Friday's lunch as John wasn't feeling well (thought it was his MS) so they haven't been together since the week before. I haven't seen him since the previous week. So think we are both okay.

John has some Brits he knows come to stay on his land recently in their motorhome. Also he takes piano lessons twice a week. So, you never know where you can get it.

 

Hi all, so only just got to charge my phone, I’m on the far left, Sarah bride had to sit down as she was feeling very faint, in fact I’m surprised she made it down the isle, once the ceremony was over she relaxed, the speeches from my brother and best man was very good, they had the whole room laughing .
Vicky sorry to hear your hubbies friend as got the horrid Covid, hope he has the mild one, it’s lucky John didn’t meet with John
